oh awww that’s cool bro thanks
New York, New York
“Rach” Finn barked, “Rach, wake up.” He said throwing a water bottle at her, “We’re about to cross the bridge.”
Rachel shook herself awake and looked on the city that would be their new home with tired eyes before looking over at Finn with a wide 100 watt grin, Finn grinned back and said “We’re home, baby.”
Rachel bit the inside of her lip and grinned over at her gorgeous husband. “Yeah, we are.” She reached out her hand to squeeze his and he brought her hand to his lips to kiss her fingertips.
When they got stopped in the inevitable traffic, Finn leaned over and took Rachel’s face in his hand and kissed her. “I am so happy we’re here. I’m so happy you’re my wife.”
Rachel felt that familiar giddy feeling in her stomach and met her eyes with his, “I love you, Finn Hudson.”

Ever since Rach and I got together for the hundredth time in senior year, every Friday night has been date night. Sure having dinner at Breadstix then going back to either of our places to put on a movie and not watch it (If you know what I mean) every week was fun, but now that we are living in New York everything has become so much more exhilarating, we are in the city of dreams and last night almost all of our New York City dreams came true.
First of all Rachel and I cooked dinner in our extremely unimpressive kitchen before eating it out on our very small and also very cold patio (Kurt and Blaine who was visiting from Lima wouldn’t, stop making out in the lounge room) But I’m not complaining as Rachel looked beautiful as ever in my giant Letterman and her loose fitting grey sweat pants with her hair tied back in a messy bun. Various strands of dark brown hair hung around her clean, make-up free face. Even though she though that she looked terrible I never wanted to get the image of her sitting Indian style on the concrete floor (Even though Kurt also lives here, the three of us still don’t have enough money to buy too much furniture) laughing at my lame jokes as she ate her pasta.
It wasn’t long before I was washing the dishes as Rachel ‘Quickly’ changed into something more suitable for the night she had planned. She had been dropping hints all week as to what we were doing tonight but I still have absolutely no idea what she has in mind as there isn’t too much that you can do In New York when you are poor college students. When she finally exited our shoe box of a bedroom I couldn’t help but drop my task at hand to take in my beautiful fiancés appearance, after seeing her beauty escalate with every second that passed I simply couldn’t prepare myself for what had just walked out of my bedroom, shining brightly in our shabby apartment, she even found a way to tear Kurt and Blaine away from each other’s mouths as they watched her slowly approach me. Her black heels clicked against the hard wood floor and her curled hair bobbed up and down with every step she took. “Are you ready?” She asked with a bright smile. All I could do was nod my head as she grabbed onto my hand, dragging me towards the door so we could officially start our very first date night in New York city (The others didn’t count as Kurt had always been a third wheel).
My eyes widened as I saw the black limo waiting outside, a small giggle escaped her lips as she dragged me towards the shiny black car. I could see the excitement in her eyes as our driver for the night opened the door, motioning for us to enter. My hand rested on the small of her back, making sure she didn’t fall and ruin her beautiful (and expensive) outfit. As I clambered in the driver shut the door, moving towards the driver’s seat to take us to our destination.
“How did you afford this?” Her eyes snapped up as the words left my mouth. A smile sat on her lips as she scooted closer to my tall body.
“I wanted our first date in the big Apple to be special, so I kindly asked my dad’s to borrow some money and they said, and I quote ‘Anything for our beautiful baby girl’ and so here we are.” Her hands motioned around the long car as she finished her sentence, looking into my eyes the entire time as her face moved just that little bit closer. Before I could argue about borrow money from her father’s again, her soft lips placed kisses up my jaw line and then finally on my lips. She was honestly to perfect for words.
“So where are we going?”
“Well I realized” She placed another kiss on my lips. “That you haven’t seen an actual” This time her lips had made their way down to my neck as she sucked my pulse point, her tongue swirling over my skin to finish off the small yet satisfying gesture. “Broadway show. So I chose the perfect one for you.” This time she didn’t place a kiss anywhere as she moved her legs underneath her body to look straight into my eyes. “Rock of the ages.” The excitement in her eyes was undeniable, and I do have to agree that I was excited to.
Our car ride took at least half an hour and boy am I glad it took that long. Rach and I had so much fun (No we didn’t have sex). She had brought along her camera which meant that for most of the time we took what she called “Shameless Selfies” and it was much more fun than I thought. I had always been told that only girls ever took these so called “Selfies” but I have no idea why guys don’t do it when it can be that much fun.
When we actually got in the theatre they told us that there was to be absolutely no photography, and for the first time in my life I saw Rachel become a total bad ass. She literally told me that she didn’t care if we got kicked out because she wanted to get a picture of me at my Very First Broadway show. Surprisingly she didn’t get caught as she only used her phone to snap a quick shot of me and my play bill, but it was still very rebellious of her.
As the show finished we rushed out first to avoid the crowds that flooded out of the theatre doors. The night air hit our faces with great force as we took our first steps into the streets of New York City. Her hand gripped onto mine as she ran towards our limo, telling the driver that we were finished with him for the night. This really did confuse me as we were in the middle of a big city and not even close to home, so why would she get rid of our very stylish ride?
“How are we getting home?” My voice was extremely serious as I stared down into her eyes, looking for answers as she smiled up at me, making it hard to keep my strong expression intact.
“We’re not done yet Hudson. I have more plans that cannot be full filled with a limo, besides too much style hasn’t ever been my thing.” A goofy smile grew on her lips as she looked down to her shoes in the most adorable way.
“I never would have realized you didn’t like style with all of those super stylish animal sweaters babe.” She lightly punched my arm, a small laugh escaping her lips as she shoved me a little. “So where to next?” I asked, breaking the comfortable silence that had grown on us. Her smile got brighter as she grabbed onto my hand and started to drag me down the street; ignoring all of my questions as she picked up the pace until we were in a light sprint (I’m still not sure how she did that in those heel). It wasn’t long until we reached a small photo booth that sat on its lonesome in the giant city, completely abandoned and un noticed as life passed it by.
“I saw this the other day while looking for work and thought it would be perfect.” Rachel simply stated as she pushed the curtain open and pushed me inside. I patiently waited as she placed a few quarters into the money slot so that we could get started. The booth surprisingly still worked as it began flashing wildly. Rachel continued to change her pose as I tentatively did the same, worried that some homeless man would come and yell at us for invading his home or something like that. Many of the photos included her smiling, kissing my cheek, putting up the loser sign behind my head. She really was enjoying herself and I didn’t want to bring down her mood by not getting into these photos. So I put another few quarters into the machine and started to pose with her, making the most of our time and to be honest, I regret absolutely nothing.
After we collected our photo’s it was closing in on Ten pm and I knew that big cities like this get dangerous as soon as it gets dark and it has been dark for a long time now. Though Rachel doesn’t seem worried in the slightest, she actually seems to be having the most fun I have ever seen her have in my entire life. Though for me the fun didn’t start until she hailed a taxi and roughly pushed me in.
“I’m going to pay you fifty bucks to drive us back to our apartment and not look back here under any circumstances what-so-ever or I will be charging you with rape charges and we all know that the court will believe an innocent nineteen year old girl over the creepy taxi driver.” I could help but smile as Controlling Rachel took over, slightly scaring the driver who shyly asked where too. Her sweet voice mumbled our address as she started to kiss down my neck, unbuckling my belt as she straddled my thighs.
“What are you doing?” I hissed as she unbuttoned my jeans, an evil grin on her lips as she looked into my eyes for the hundredth time that night.
“Don’t laugh and say that this is crazy, but Amy, Annie and Ashley from my advanced acting class who are all native New Yorkers told me that to be a true New Yorker you have to of cried on the subway without caring about what anyone thought, stolen a cab from someone else, Killed a cockroach with your bare hand, seen Woody Allen and had sex in a cab. So right now we are about to start working on that list.” I couldn’t help but smile and agree to it after the driver told us that he doesn’t care what we do as so many young couples have sex in the back of his cab that he doesn’t even take notice anymore.
And so for the half hour drive back home Rachel and I made the sweetest (okay maybe it wasn’t too sweet as we were in fact in the back of a taxi) love and took one step closer to becoming true New Yorkers, and if the others are as fun as this then I think I’m really going to like this list.

AU Finchel: Rachel is a world famous Pop Star, Kurt Hummel is her biggest fan and he drags his big brother along to one of her concerts. The pair meet outside the concert hall as she is overcome with nerves and he simply wanted a cigarette. Attraction causes them to kiss and a secret affair begins. (I would have written a fic to go with this but time simply escaped me, mainly because of school)

Finchel Week : February 15th/Day 4 - 80’s (Finn and Rachel as Andrew and Allison from The Breakfast Club)
Ok, obviously this will all be AU after the Heart episode, but it’s been floating around in my head and I wanted to post it before the episode aired. I also wanted to write something for Finchel week so…here we are! :) Happy Valentine’s Day!!! ♥
He’s been nervous all day. Rachel keeps telling him to relax, that everything will be fine, but it doesn’t stop his hands from shaking. His parents, Kurt, and himself are all at the Berry’s house for dinner on Valentine’s Day—her dads wanted to “celebrate” their engagement. He’s still really confused about all of that, though. He thought for sure that when they found out, they’d take him to the backyard and castrate him, no matter how much they may have liked him before all of this. They seem…weirdly happy and calm about everything, and so do his parents for that matter, so he doesn’t really know what to think.
